Eduardo Fernandez, L.Ac. has over fifteen years of experience and is certified in pain management by the American Academy of Pain Management. He started and successfully ran one of the first acupuncture pain clinics in a hospital setting in the State of Oregon. He is also certified in Integrative Neuromuscular Acupuncture for Pain Management by the the Biomedical Acupuncture Institute. He is also board certified by The National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Eduardo has volunteered for several projects related to quality management and improvement for his profession in Oregon. He also served as a volunteer mediator for the City of Portland and has served as Chairperson of the Citizens Noise Advisory Committee for the Port of Portland.
Eduardo likes helping people find practical solutions to their healthcare needs, integrating Chinese medicine with the latest in western medical research. He is a big believer in self-care and typically recommends simple exercises based on the principles of Gyrokinesis and Somatics - exercises designed to improve flexibility and re-educate the nervous system for healthier movement.
In his spare time he enjoys reading, travel, sports, and the company of friends and family. He's also trained as a classical artist.
